AnyConnect for Mac

This knowledge base article provides detailed, step-by-step instructions to help users connect to AnyConnect from a Mac.The guide is designed to be user-friendly, ensuring that even those with limited technical knowledge can successfully connect to AnyConnect and access their network resources securely.

First, click on “Launchpad” and locate the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility client.

You can also click, hold, drag, and drop the icon to the Dock to make it easier to find in the future.

When the client launches, you’ll see the following.

Make sure SLAM_VPN is in the box then click “CONNECT”

You will then be asked to enter your user name and password then click “OK”. This is your

Windows user name and password.

Next, you’ll be required to approve connection via Duo on your mobile device.

After approving the connection, you’ll “ACCEPT” the following disclaimer.

In the Dock, click on the AnyConnect icon

The following will appear.

Click on “DISCONNECT” to end your session.

You’ll be presented with the following.

To close, click on “Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client”, top le􀅌 corner then click on “Quit Cisco AnyConnect”
