AnyConnect for Windows

This knowledge base article provides detailed, step-by-step instructions to help users connect to AnyConnect from a Windows device. The guide is designed to be user-friendly, ensuring that even those with limited technical knowledge can successfully connect to AnyConnect and access their network resources securely.

First, click on “START” then scroll to find the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility client then click to launch.

When the client launches, you’ll see the following.

Make sure SLAM_VPN is in the box then click “CONNECT”

You will then be asked to enter your user name and password then click “OK”.  (This is your Windows user name and password)

Next, you’ll be required to approve connection via Duo on your mobile device.

After approving the connection, you’ll “ACCEPT” the following disclaimer.

In the bottom, right hand corner of your screen, locate the Cisco AnyConnect icon and click on it.

You may need to click the up arrow to reveal the icon.

Click on the AnyConnect icon and the following will appear.

Click on “DISCONNECT” to end your session.

You’ll be presented with the following. Click the “X” to close the box.
