To play music from the SLAM Events Soundtrack Your Brand account please get a tablet from our events staff. These devices are the only devices we have registered with Soundtrack for playing music.
Before your event you can browse the music library on Soundtrack's website and, if desired, create your own playlist. If you need access to the website please contact Ken in IT.
On the day of your event take the player to the room where you need music and connect it to the sound system through the headphone jack on the tablet (the cable for this should be connected to the sound system in the room already).
Unlock the tablet by swiping up from the bottom
Set the volume on the player to 80-90% and adjust the sound system volume as needed.
Open Soundtrack by clicking on the icon. If you don't see the icon swipe left or right to get to the "Home" screen
At the bottom of the Soundtrack app you will see Discover, Search, Create, and Your Music. If you have created a playlist or added an existing playlist to Your Music from the website it will be in Your Music. Discover lets you see pre made playlist, search lets you search for an artist or song, and create is where you can go to create a playlist from the tablet.
After finding your music for your event press play when you are ready to start the music and enjoy. If your event is longer than a few hours or if the batter is low please plug in the charger.
