Overview/Introduction
Cisco Jabber is an application that allows incoming and outgoing calls to and from your SLAM telephone number on your windows device. When placing outgoing calls from Jabber on your computer, your SLAM telephone number is displayed as the caller ID to the recipient. Also important to remember, while logged into Jabber, calls WILL ring on both your device as well as your desk phone. Please review the "Signing Out" section for more detail. Lastly, the same dialing rules apply when making calls via Jabber as they do when placing calls using your desk phone.
This document provides instruction on the use of Cisco Jabber for Windows basic features. This is a quick start guide and will not cover any of the advanced features supported by Cisco Jabber for Windows.
